360 360 Military Family Center - The Center is for Military families who have children with Developmental Disabilities. Children are defined as age’s birth-25. The Center will focus on three major areas; Health Care and Mental Health, Special Education, and Early Intervention. It will also give up to 15 hours a month in Respite care. That will be given on a limited basis after a family needs assessment. This Center is for families who want assistance in navigating through the educational and medical system. The Center is specifically targeted to work with young families (E-4 or Below) or families who have been in the Military for 2 or less years. The Center is located in the Tacoma Office and will work with Military Families associated with Fort Lewis or McChord and who have a child with developmental disabilities.
 
Community Inclusion Community Inclusion ProgramProvides meetings and events in three geographical areas, Peninsula and Southeast and community Westside Pierce County. Families, individuals with disabilities, neighbors and community members come together to learn about resources and supports.
 
 
Family to Family Health Information CenterThe Family to Family Health Information Center is a program that serves families who have children and youth with special health care needs age birth to 18 years. We provide individual information on advocating for your child in the health care system and refer you to resources that are available in Washington State that provide information on health care.
 
 
ITEIP Infant Toddler Early Intervention Parent Participation Coordinator Provides technical assistance and training to ITEIP, the Washington State Interagency Coordinating Council (SICC), state agencies, County Interagency Coordinating Councils (CICC), families/parents, service providers, and others regarding family involvement in Early Intervention for Infants and Toddlers birth to three and their families. Also assists with the coordinating and planning SICC & CICC forums where families share their experiences on early interventions services. These forums are called “Conversations With Families.”  Provides parent scholarships to the annual Infant and Early Childhood Conference held in the spring of every year.
 
P2P  Person Centered Planning Program of Pierce CountyProvides ongoing training and support for facilitators, parent and self-advocate mentors, and person centered plans utilizing Maps and graphics.

 
P2P Pierce County Parent to Parent" Provides emotional support and information on community resources for parents who have a child with a disability or chronic health need. Helping Parent Volunteers and staff assist families in coping with many challenging experiences and feelings and can contact families by phone, home visits, or hospital visits.
 
Response to Intervention Response to Intervention (RTI) – Information for FamiliesProvides training and information for families in Washington State whose school districts provide interventions through an RTI (Response to Intervention) Model. Our website provides access to a vast collection of information and resources to assist parents in understanding their role in the RTI process and to learn strategies that support their child’s’ educational progress.
 
PTP Statewide Parent Training and Information Center (PTI) is a federally funded program that provides training, resources, and support for parents in Washington State whose children have special learning needs, individuals with disabilities, professionals – anyone interested in people with disabilities. Staff and volunteers work with you one-to-one or provide workshops on various aspects of obtaining appropriate services in the public school system.
 
STOMP Specialized Training of Military Parents (STOMP)STOMP is a federally funded program that provides support and training to military families throughout the United States and overseas, with special emphasis on helping other parent centers learn about issues facing military families through workshops, telephone consultations and presentations.
