Description: PAVE's Response to Intervention Program would like to invite you to participate in this FREE session to learn how to assist families and educators in understanding response to intervention. RTI is a tiered process that districts can use to help students when they first begin to struggle in school. It uses periodic screening of all students to identify students who need extra help. Research tested interventions are provided and the data collected about students process is used to make further decisions. Please RSVP by August 19, 2010. Help give families the necessary tools to help their child who is struggling in school.

YATE is PAVE’s annual conference designed for individuals to gather valuable information pertaining to a person in their life who has a disability.
Keynote Speaker Roberto Rivera discusses how youth can redefine their labels and use them as their strengths. He talks about how he went from being a disengaged student in special education classes in high school to eventually graduating with honors at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This talk is guaranteed to help traditional and non-traditional learners define and redefine their strengths to demonstrate increased academic and social achievement.
